Virtual Monitoring is an extension to the SoundID Reference software, available in two versions:

The SoundID binaural in-ear microphone has been designed specifically for the measurement process with Virtual Monitoring PRO. It is not possible to create headphone calibration profiles with it, and we do not recommend using this microphone for other purposes.
However, it is a USB-C class-compliant audio device, and it will be available as an input option in the I/O settings of various applications - feel free to experiment!
