Partnership Policy
For Sonarworks Trade Partners
Sonarworks Partnership & Quality Assurance Policy (“Policy”) shall be complied to and accepted by any company or entity (“Partner”) that purchases Sonarworks products (“Products”) for B2C resell or distribution purposes.
The purpose of this Policy is to ensure an excellent service for Sonarworks end users, to enforce Partner capability to support the end users both in pre-sales and post-sales stages of Sonarworks products, to secure the Sonarworks IP and trademarks, and to ensure a fair and transparent marketplace for all parties participating in Sonarworks product trade.
Resellers
Partners with their business focus (main source of income) as a reseller to end users may be offered a Partnership Agreement for Sonarworks Product resell to end customers only.
The reseller must have pro audio and studio equipment products in their portfolio that are compatible with Sonarworks Products, a proven track record (experience minimum 5 years) and good technical competence (Sonarworks Pro Level technical certification).
The minimum purchase of Sonarworks products for resell Partners is 35 000 EUR yearly (in purchase prices), unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Distributors
Companies with their business focus (main source of income) as a distributor to pro audio resellers may be offered a Partnership Agreement for Sonarworks Product resell to resellers only (as defined in section “Resellers”).
The distributor must have a focus on pro audio and studio equipment, a proven track record (experience in the field minimum 5 years) and good technical competence (Sonarworks Pro Level technical certification).
In case of hybrid business models (distribution and resell) the distributor and its involved subsidiaries must be able to demonstrate separation of duties and an ability to compete fairly and transparently with their resellers.
The minimum purchase amount of Sonarworks products for distribution Partners is 100 000 EUR yearly (in purchase prices), unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Territory Focus
Partners with their business focus as a distributor to pro audio resellers will define their geographic area of expertise and will focus time and financial investments in this area, unless agreed otherwise with Sonarworks.
In European Union the geographical area of free trade encompasses the whole territory of the EU, while focusing the business development and investment efforts to the geographic area of expertise specified.
Partnership Agreement
All Partner candidates must be able to understand, accept and comply with the terms in the Sonarworks Partnership Agreement. This includes but is not limited to the willingness and ability to ensure the protection of the Sonarworks intellectual property, confidentiality and monthly reporting.
Good Faith and Financial Standing
Sonarworks will not accept Partner candidates with active or historical criminal record, poor financial health as demonstrated by the data on the latest financial statements (or lack thereof), cases of racist, homophobic or otherwise ethically dubious public statements, candidates which or whose affiliates are recorded in the publicly available sanction registers as well as candidates to whom or whose country of residence export or import restrictions are imposed what restrict trade with Products.
