Our latest update of SoundID Reference brings workflow improvements across the board and expands our headphone library with five professional-grade models from Audeze and Beyerdynamic. Here’s what’s new and why it matters for your monitoring setup.

What’s New

Improved Dropdown Menu Experience

SoundID Reference now features an enhanced dropdown menu selection and visibility. Navigating between headphone profiles, speaker calibrations, and presets is faster and more intuitive, keeping you in the creative flow instead of hunting through menus.

Recent Enhancements You May Have Missed

Redesigned Onboarding. First-time setup is now streamlined with an updated guide that gets you calibrated faster.

Smarter Profile Management. “Virtual Monitoring” has been renamed to “Virtual monitoring factory profile” and moved to the dropdown menu. You can now add it like any regular profile, giving you cleaner workspace organization.

Preference Controls. New functionality in Preferences lets you hide features you don’t own, decluttering your interface to show only what you actually use.

Updated External Links. All support page links now point to the current Sonarworks documentation.
