Five new headphone profiles from Audeze and Beyerdynamic are now available in SoundID Reference. These profiles went live on January 27, 2026 – no software download required.

These profiles are now accessible in the SoundID Reference app and plugin. Simply select them from your headphone profile dropdown — they appear automatically, no action required. They join our library of 500+ supported models.
Recent Software Improvements (v5.13.2.1087 – December 9, 2025)
If you haven’t updated SoundID Reference since early December, the latest version (5.13.2.1087) includes these workflow improvements:
SoundID Reference Desktop & Plugin:
- Improved dropdown menu selection and visibility
SoundID Virtual Monitoring PRO Measure:
- Improved SPL measurement step avoiding possible false positives
- License state refreshes without software restart
- Non-unicode symbols in user name or path name won’t affect software performance
- Sample rate restricted to 44.1 kHz for measurement accuracy
- Correct software version now displayed
- Fixed loading indicator during profile creation
- Added warning and user guidance when the same output device is selected for speakers and headphones
