A surround format that combines object-based encoding with ambisonics for use in TV, film, games, and music. The format supports up to 128 object channels and 64 physical speakers and is compatible with any speaker layout and even headphones, using binaural encoding. MPEG-H powers many immersive streaming audio formats, including Sony 360 RA.
