Electrical conductors allow the flow of electrical current. A mic cable is described as two signal conductors and a ground conductor. Ethernet cables provide 8 separate conductors.

Musical conductors direct an ensemble, such as an orchestra. In a DAW, the MIDI conductor track indicates the tempo of a session.
